D-Day Duck ToursThe Imperial War Museum and London Duck Tours will be offering visitors the chance to travel in an extraordinary historic vehicle. A DUKW amphibious craft or 'Duck' as they are affectionately known, were built during the Second World War to withstand driving onto beaches in 15-ft seas. An essential part of the Normandy campaign 40% of beach supplies were DUKW borne during the first 4 months of the invasion.

The tour will be a unique opportunity to experience this vehicle first-hand and learn more about the history of D-Day at the Imperial War Museum's three London branches. The route passes many famous London landmarks and includes a thrilling splashdown into the River Thames.
